ACCA training courses are available online and in classroom settings. To become a member of the ACCA, candidates must pass 14 examinations. This route is open to everyone, but there are some requirements to be aware of.
Globally-Recognized Professional Accounting Body
Founded in 1909, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) is a global professional accounting body that offers the Chartered Certified Accountant designation to qualified individuals. The organization has a global presence, with offices in 51 countries and more than 233,000 members and future members. In addition, the ACCA is affiliated with seven hundred and thirty-two approved education providers. The designation “Chartered Certified Accountant” is used exclusively by members of the ACCA, and no other organization uses the title.
It Offers Classroom and Online Courses
ACCA helps you develop a solid base in taxation, accounting, and costing. Upon completion of a Chartered Accountants course, you will be eligible to work as a risk manager, auditor, or financial controller. The course requires a 10+2 education with at least 65% in all subjects. There are three levels of the ACCA examination: Knowledge, Skills, and Professional. Kaplan Learning offers ACCA training courses for both classroom and online.
It Requires 14 Examinations
ACCA training courses require candidates to pass 14 examinations. There are nine papers in the Fundamental level and five in the Professional level. Candidates must complete all fourteen papers to qualify for the ACCA certification. There are also some optional papers that candidates may choose from. There are four examination sessions each year. Candidates can also take computer-based exams on demand. Depending on the candidate’s experience and educational background, they can take fewer examinations or even complete the certification earlier.
It Is Open-Entry Route
There are two ways to enroll in ACCA courses – the open-entry route for students from A-levels and the ACCA-accredited Foundations in Accountancy (FIA) qualification. While students who choose the FIA Diploma route can opt for the ACCA qualification after completing the FIA level papers, Phoenix suggests waiting until they are 18 years old, when they are ready to handle the demands of professional study and contribute to the workplace.
It Offers Funding Options For Postgraduate Study
There are several funding options available to ACCA members to finance their postgraduate studies. A number of government-backed loans can also be obtained. You may also qualify for a loan that covers the full cost of the postgraduate course. In addition to government loans, ACCA members may also be eligible for scholarships and studentships. Students can also apply for funding through their employer, who may offer financial support to employees who wish to further their education.
